The Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA) is proud to host the Alberta Career Development Conference - BTT and Beyond: Get Connected at the Best Western Port O'Call Hotel in Calgary, Alberta on May 30 and 31, 2014. This inaugural career development conference acknowledges the rich tradition and history of the Building Tomorrow Today (BTT) consultations of the past and their importance to Career Development Practitioners and the career development profession in Alberta. It is the culmination of support and assistance from various career development organizations and practitioners across the province.

The Alberta Career Development Conference will be keynoted by three internationally recognized and respected career development experts:

Ongoing research interests include: supporting careers guidance practitioners in their use of labour market information in career guidance; the integration of information technologies into careers practice; the decision-making styles and career trajectories of individuals across Europe; the implications for career guidance of older women's career development; the role of career adaptability for mid-career changers and knowledge maturation in organizations.
