The Career Development Association of Alberta’s sixth annual Alberta Career Development Conference (ACDC) will focus on “Shaping the Future – Career Development for the 21st Century”. Given the growing importance of career development in the changing world of work this theme is not only timely, but appropriate…and necessary.

ACDC 2019, hosted by the Career Development Association of Alberta, will be held on April 30 and May 1, 2019 in Edmonton, Alberta at the Delta by Marriott Edmonton South Conference Centre and will bring together 300 Career Development Practitioners and related professionals from across Alberta, and points beyond to shape the future of career development.

You are invited to showcase your organization as part of the Exhibitor Fair at the conference on April 30 and May 1, 2019. In addition to attending keynote presentations, expert panels, and concurrent sessions you will have the opportunity to connect with delegates during morning registration on both days, hospitality breaks set up in the Exhibitor Fair area in the morning and afternoon on both days, and lunch on both days. Your organization will benefit from engaging directly with Career Development Practitioners and related professionals, industry leaders, policy makers, educators, and more about your programs, services, resources, and tools.

Concurrent sessions will be delivered on the following topics:

  • Career Counselling / Coaching Techniques
  • Trends, Tools, and Technology
  • Career Development Research and Theories
  • Workforce Planning and Development
  • Personal Development and Wellness
  • Leadership, Supervision, and Mentorship
  • Best Practices for Diverse Client Groups
