ALIS - Alberta Learning Information Service

ALIS is Alberta's online source for career, learning and employment information.
Access the Career Shop Catalogue for outstanding career planning and work search publications to be viewed, downloaded, or sent to you in hard copy. You can also access resources on Job Postings, Student Finance Information and Occupational Profiles from the Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS).

Alberta's Best is Hiring
This site and accompanying TV program is a resource for job searchers. Featured companies showcase a wide range of career opportunities while drawing attention to the benefits of working for their company.

Blueprint for Life/Work
The Blueprint provides a list of competencies considered important to develop throughout one's life/work building process. These competencies are organized in three main areas: personal management, learning and work exploration, and life/work building. A national treasure for program and curriculum development and for providing a common language for career development.

Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling (CERIC)
CERIC's mission is to encourage and provide educational and research programs related to the development, analysis and assessment of current counselling and career development theories and practices in Canada.
