About Job Postings

To assist our members and potential members, the CDAA has decided to offer a job posting page on the site. Postings are included at the discretion of the CDAA and the submission will not be accepted if it does not meet our criteria or if the posting conflicts with the professional vision of the CDAA and its members. Currently, you can send submissions to the webmaster Christine Gertz. Please add a relevant subject line to your message to make it past the e-mail filter and send your jobs as "High Priority". [Additional information for posters and applicants.]

How to post or apply for a job

For employers and posters:

  • The CDAA hosts no advertising on the site, except to make members aware of upcoming relevant professional events, so each posting that you submit for inclusion to this page must be connected to an actual, available position.
  • Each position should have a clear end-date for submissions. We also recommend that you submit positions with full information about applying, plus a redirect link to the primary posting site, and include contact information, such as an e-mail address. Jobs without an end date will be removed within 30 days of the day the posting is uploaded to the website.
  • Do not submit a posting to the website that will close within 48 hours. Please allow members at least one week to prepare their application documents.
  • Currently, all postings will be stripped of logos and other images to simplify posting; however, we are more than happy to provide a link to your organization's page wherever it is mentioned within the text of the posting.
  • If you discover a posting from your organization that you did not wish to have disseminated through our site, please contact the webmaster, Christine Gertz and ask to have the posting removed. We will try to comply immediately with your request.

For job seekers:

  • The CDAA is not the contact point for information about a particular position; if you have questions, direct your questions to the organization that is listed in the job posting, not the CDAA. Do not submit applications to the CDAA, unless it is a CDAA position.
  • At this time, there are no provisions for a posting archive, so please make a personal copy of each posting that you wish to apply for; a short-cut to this page from your desktop is not enough since the content of this page will change when postings are added or removed.
  • This job posting page is a temporarily accessible-to-all service, because we are considering moving the page to a members-only portion of the site.
  • Though it is not required, if you mention to an employer where you saw the posting, you will assist your association in raising its profile with external agencies.
