Professional Development
The CDAA coordinates an annual provincial consultation, Building
Tomorrow Today, the second largest Canadian three-day event for practitioners
interested in networking, sharing ideas, information, tips, and tools, and furthering
their professional development.
Area Chapters
Chapters provide members with a chance to network and participate in professional
development at a local level. CDAA currently has six chapters:
Consultation and representation on provincial, national, and international initiatives
The CDAA is an active member of the Alberta Working Connections Team that is
working towards stronger ties among practitioners, policy makers, and employers.
The CDAA is an active stakeholder in the Canadian Standards and Guidelines for Career Practitioners (link will
