  • Campus Alberta
    Graduate Program in Counselling

The Campus Alberta Graduate Program in Counselling is a Canadian, collaborative, inter-university, distance education alternative for individuals wishing to prepare for roles as either professional counsellors or counselling psychologists. The program includes a Career Counselling area of specialization. The program is designed to complement rather than compete with the current on-campus programs in Alberta. Our goal is to provide students who face various barriers to completing degrees through traditional programs with the opportunity to further their education. The program will enhance the on-campus programs at the University of Calgary and The University of Lethbridge by providing a high quality alternative for students in the on-campus programs who face scheduling difficulties.

  • Bow Valley College, Calgary
Life Skills and Career Development Coach Diploma and Career Development Certificate

[Approved by the CDAA as a qualification for the Certified Career Development Professional (CCDP) designation]
The Diploma Program has been designed as a one plus one program. If you successfully complete year one of the program, you may exit with a Life Skills Coach Certificate or continue to complete year two to earn a Life Skills and Career Development Coach Diploma. Year two (Career Development Stream) can be taken as a full time program or on a course-by-course basis. The Life Skills Coach and Career Development Coach Diploma program will provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to design and facilitate outcome-based life management skills and career development programs and services.

A Career Development Certificate can be completed on its own without first completing a Life Skills Coach Certificate.

  • Life Strategies Ltd. through Yorkville University
    Career Management Professional Program

The Career Management Professional Program (CMP) is designed to meet the professional development needs of career/employment counsellors, career practitioners, human resource management professionals, counsellors, rehabilitation professionals and/or practitioners in related fields. Developed in BC and offered online through a learning management system, this course welcomes students from all across the country. Our goal is to serve the needs of practicing professionals who require CEU's to keep their status current in their professional associations or who simply wish to enhance their present skills.
