As a professional association committed to the growth of the career development field and the success of its practitioners, the CDAA plans, organizes and coordinates a number of professional development events.

• Building Tomorrow Today — our annual three-day consultation on career development at which practitioners share their best practices and consult on emerging career development issues.
• Area Chapters in six diverse locations in Alberta and North of 60 offer local professional development and networking opportunities. These events range from lunch and learn events, wine and cheese networking events, to one-day conferences.
• Professional Development Events are offered from time to time throughout the province to provide further opportunities to add knowledge, skills and continuing education units (CEUs) for credit towards CCDP renewal.
